I had a make over yesterday at Lancome with products that I hadn’t used before so I thought I would share with you what products I used and give you a small review on the products too. To start with the lovely Lancome lady Sara used the Bi-facil make up remover to take off the make up I already had on. Then the Genifique Youth Activating Moisturising Cream (£56) was used and I really loved the texture of this cream. It feels like it is doing something straight away. Then onto a favourite of mine the Genifique Advanced Youth Activating Concentrate (£58) was used. This stuff is so nice, it has recently been updated to advanced so it has a lighter texture and sinks into the skin making it feel hydrated straight away. Not so in love with the price though but I think it will be worth saving up for. We then moved on to the foundation, I wanted something light as I only really wear BB Creams so we decided to go for Tient Idole 24Hr (£27.50) with the Effacernes Longue Tenue concealer (£21) too. I really liked this foundation and this was exactly what I wanted from a foundation. I was also given a tester home with me so that I could test it at home for the colour match. I’ll let you know how I go with that after I have used it a few times. We tried the new Hypnose Palettes in Mon Smoky (£37), one of 12 palettes that are out at the moment which has some gorgeous grey colours from a light tone, a mid tone and a darker tone and a pinky peach colour which added something special to the make up look. There is a step by step number guide for how to put these eye shadows on and they can be applied dry or wet for a more intense look which I love as you can take your look from day to night with one palette. We then used the original Hypnose mascara (£22) which gave a gorgeous sultry look that I was after. To finish the look the Liner Plume (£22) was used to create these thick lines which I love, the Line Plume was easy to use, dried quickly. I have tried to recreate the look and I love it so much so that I think it will be my go to look for a while as I love it. I was a bit naughty though as I had really wanted to try the new Genifique Eye-Light pearl (£45)as my eyes get puffy sometimes and I had heard great things for this products and yes it was great. You can apply this over your make up as it leaves the make up where it is . It is really cooling on the skin and my skin looks great today. Do you like my new look? Will you be trying out or buying any of these products? Which ones? Happy shopping!
