Emily Hearts Fragrance Fridays

I was in Boots the other day trying looking at the new products like you do. I came across the new Taylor Swift Perfume and I just fell in love with this fragrance straight away. Taylor Swift’s previous fragrances have been growers as I didn’t love them immediantly. Taylor is more of a grown up scent in my opinion – it really represents her style and public persona. The other fragrances which I have (eventually) loved have been a tad on the sweet side but the twist with this third perfume in the collection is that there are slightly woody base notes which realy makes this fragrance the ultimate special scent. The top notes of this perfume are lychee, tangerine and magnolia. The mid tones are a mixture of Taylors favourite flowers peonies, hydrangeas and amazing vanilia orchids and the base notes are of Sandlewood, warmed by apricot cashmere musk and that amazing wood blend I talked about earlier that lingers and makes this scent strangly adictive. I also love the staying power of this scent too, it stayed on all day and didn’t need a top up. The packaging has the 60’s multicoloured swirls but the fake pearls around the lid give the bottle a cheap feel. Taylor Swift is forgiven as it still looks funky, retro and glam. Taylor has also slipped in her favurite and most luckiest of numbers  No.13 onto the packaging and how very fitting as it is Friday the 13th today when this post goes live. Perfect timing if I do say so myself. Taylor by Taylor Swift is as always a great price at £23  for 30ml, £29 for 50ml and 100ml  for just £39 at any local perfume counter including Boots and Superdrug. Barganous! It is surprisingly also available in a rolerball bottle for just £12 which is just lovely for your handbag. This scent is fast becoming a swift favorite. Sorry had to be done. Go check it out and let me know what you think. Happy shopping!
