It’s just starting to get Christmassy on the blog. I thought that I would begin the festivities by doing a tag. I love doing blog tags but I don’t do them very often. I thought that I would do one today as they’re quick, easy and really fun. I got this Christmas tag from http://www.glowofgrace.com and there are some fab questions. Here are the tag questions, Enjoy! 1. Do you like to stay in your PJ’s, or dress up for Christmas? I love to dress up on Christmas day. I usually get some clothes or footwear of some sort that is usually quite dressy so will always wear something new. It’s a special day, we also get to spend me with family so we should make an effort. 2. If you could only buy one person a present this year, who would it be? I always get so excited about giving presents. Half the fun of the day is that you’ve spent many hours thinking about what you’re going to get people and their reactions are always the best. I don’t mind really but maybe my husband. He always has the best reactions and one year I even made him do a treasure hunt to get them. Such fun! 3. Do you open your presents Christmas Eve or Christmas morning? Always early on Christmas morning although, I’m thinking of starting a tradition of having one pressie to open that will be new PJ’s. I think it will catch on. 4. Have you ever built a Gingerbread house? Nope but I’ve seen some awesome gingerbread houses in my time. 5. What do you like to do on your Christmas break? Spend lots of time with my family. My husband and I also have a tradition of going to see a pantomime the day after boxing day so I always love to do that. 6. What’s your favourite Christmas meal or treat? Love both. A Christmas meal is extra yummy but my husbands family are Latvian and they make amazing treats called pirags or speka. They’re amazing bread based balls that encapsulate a bacon and herb mixture. They’re the tastiest things ever and they always get made and brought out on special occasions. 7. What’s your favorite holiday/Christmas movie? Groundhog day, Gremlins or maybe Home Alone. Such classics and I try and watch them every Christmas! 8. Candy Canes or Gingerbread Men? Gingerbread men overtime although we do put candy canes from Starbucks on our tree. So cool and festive! 9. Have you ever made a snowman? Yes when I was a kid. Such fun! I also love having snowball fights too. 10. Which do you like better, Christmas Eve or Christmas Day? I love Christmas eve. So much preparation, fun and anticipation. If I’m at my mum and step dads we wrap pressies last minute till late and we always go to church mainly because I love to sing carols and hear the gorgeous singing while everyone is so happy. Christmas day is good too, especially because you get to spend time with family. 11. White lights, or colored lights? White lights, they’re so twinkly and pretty.
