Fashion and Home Youtubers
I do enjoy watching a good home and fashion Youtuber, I’ve especially enjoyed it while spending time at home in lock down recently. I’ve mostly been watching and listening to them while I’ve been sat feeding the little one in the evening. It’s a great distraction and fabulous to set my creative mind whirring. While I had a minute I thought I would jot down a list of some of these Youtubers. I’ve realised there are quite a few so I’m recommending five home and fashion Youtubers to watch this time which leaves space for another post for the rest that I’ve been enjoying. They’ve really helped raise my spirits in the last few months.
Model Mouth – Lifestyle, Home and Fashion
First up is fashion – Model Mouth or Charlotte Rose as she’s better known is a model. She does vlog style YouTube videos showing off her recent fashion, beauty and home purchases as well as press deliveries. She’s been doing up her house she moved into recently and it’s looking amazing. She is full of ideas for your own home and it’s lovely watching her getting settled, turning her house into a home with her partner Lou. She also has a lovely instagram where she posts just Outfit of the day pictures with shop details. I love her style and always look forward to seeing her videos pop up on Wednesdays and Sunday.
Alexander Gater – Home
Staying with the home theme, I’m loving this lovely Canadian based home stylist, and lifestyle Youtuber Alexander Gater. She’s does home make overs for millennials on a budget with a really quirky yet minimalist kind of style. She has several different projects with many collaborators including a lovely lady called DIY Danie. This girl can create something out of nothing. They have tips, hacks and ideas for how to create the most amazing settings. Watching one of her videos is just a lovely way to pass the time on a Sunday evening.
Fashion Mumblr – Home, Fashion,Beauty and Lifestyle
I actually know of Fashion Mumblr, a fashion, home and lifestyle Youtuber and blogger from when she commented on my site a good 5 years ago. I checked out her website and Youtube channel and really loved it. I’ve been an avid follower ever since – she’s actually really inspired me recently to do more on my site. She has a degree in fashion and marketing and also recently moved from London to a huge cotswolds forever home with her fiancé Charlie Irons, also a mens fashion bloggers and vlogger. The amazing house has many bedrooms, a lot of land, a duck pond and a coach house that they’re both renovating. Her daily moving vlogs – which have now gone back to the regular weekly ones have really been seeing quite a lot of people through this hard time.
XO, MaCenna – Home
Im really into watching home and DIY-ing vlogs at the moment as you can tell. I’m loving watching this American stylist and Youtuber MaCenna. She is an amazing artist, that does DIY Home decor, room make overs and thrift flips. She has a cool boho style with macrame accessories and a neutral palette as her main home style. Her DIY pieces are super innovative but also can be easy to make. I’ve learnt so much from watching her videos. She’s vlogged quite a bit on her channel XO,Macenna vlogs too where she gives a behind the scenes look at her videos and home projects.
Laura Melhuish- Sprague – Fashion and Home
Laura Melhuish-Sprague is a really interesting Youtuber and blogger. She started her blog quite a few years ago when living in London highlighting a classic feminine approach to everything from fashion to interiors. She’s a designer that does some amazing paintings. She has a really cool more traditional style. She’s started to focus more on her Youtube channel with fashion, interiors mostly as she’s started to renovate her house that she bought with her boyfriend Oli more than a year ago. It’s lovely to follow their journey, how far the house has come and the projects that they’ve done as they’ve worked on their property and garden. I’ve mentioned before I just love her fashion style.
I love how all of these Youtubers are so relatable. They just give you so many ideas for fashion, interiors. It’s been a breath of fresh air to watch them the whole time I’ve watched them and even more so over the past few months.
