Wimbledon started on Monday and is now in full swing. So far this week has seen a few disasters happening with Nadal and Federer crashing out in the first round and seven players dropping out due to injuries. Hope fully the next few days go a bit more smoothly. Can’t beat a few Wimbledon Tottie pictures though. Luckily our man Andy Murrey is round to the next round after his great performance today, and I’m so excited how far he goes this year. Come on Andy! 🙂 I thought I would throw in some 80’s tottie as I just love reminiscing about Andre Agassi, John Macenroe and Bjon Borg. Do you like the Wimbledon Totty? Happy Shopping!
The Body Shop had a great stand full of the Cruelty Free Limited Edition products and they are all pretty special. There are four main products that make up Leona’s collection. A pretty blush brush, four luscious lip glosses, Two gorgeous blushes, and two beautiful scents. In a little closer detail, the pink and black petal kabuki brush is gorgeous to use and is priced at £14. The blusher and bronzer is delightfully named Oh Dear, it’s cute and can be used individually. The four individual lip glosses are lovely colours, there is a light pink which is a light bright and has a lovely texture, there is a darker brown which has a lovely pigment to it, the deep pink is very pink, and is a lovely colour worn by Leona in the campaign pictures and tastefully bright and lastly is the lovely pale orange rust colour. All four are priced at £7 each . There is also two beautiful fragrances, a white musk Eau De Parfum for £13 and an Eau de Toilette £10 . Both smell amazing. Get down to the nearest Body Shop to smell them. In the speech we listened to at the launch, Leona informed us that white musk use to be extracted from the deer, and The Body Shop was one of the first companies to make a synthetic man made musk, and so designing the logo with The Body Shop was a celebration of the cruelty free fair trade products. As you can see Leona is gorgeous, and was truly lovely. She knew her products well and I think she will be a great advocate. She is passionate about make up,which is was certainly obvious with her enviable flawless make up she had when I met her. She spoke about how it was a dream to have an exclusive collection at a shop since she has regularly shopped at The Body Shop from being a small girl. Mostly Leona spoke about her passion for Animal Rights. The EU ban was talked about lots and it is something that is backed fully by Leona. The Body Shop have been campaigning for a considerable amount of time and this ban finally came into effect in the EU in the last month. Great work Body Shop! ‘The ban prevents the import and sales of animal tested products and ingredients in the EU’ (http://www.thebodyshop.co.uk) and The Body Shop is now campaigning to make this ban global. Go to the link that Leona has in this picture to sign on the doted line too. Thank you to The Body Shop for inviting me down to the launch and I hope you all go and have gander at the new products. Happy Shopping!
So just when we thought Kate Middleton, The Duchess of Cambridge couldn’t get more elegant, she brings out another stunning Jenny Packham number, worthy of a blog post, so here it is. Last night the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were at the Albert Hall for the London Olympic Gala which marks the count down for the 2012 Olympics Games in London. Kate looked very elegant with her hair in an intrecate bun and minimal but very pretty long dangly diamond jewellery to the black tie event. The dress was a maxi style Jenny Packham with a deep v neck that had lace inlay, shoulders and a back panel adorned with glittering jewels and long line of buttons. The finishing touch to the dress was a gorgeous jewelled belt that fastened at the back in a precise and small contemporary bow. Perfect accessories included a matching purse and her silver ‘Vamp’ Jimmy Choo sandals. oh and don’t forget the pristine crimson pedicure. Take note ladies, this Princess knows style . What did you think of the dress? Did you fall in love with that gorgeous dress like me or is there another star you are taking style tips from? Let me know your thoughts. Happy Shopping!
As you loved the Posh and Becks post so much, I’m posting another gorgeous celeb with another gorgeous dress. I am loving this White Armani Prive dress on Anne Hathaway, she has got it so right in this dress. From the amazing strapless dress that gives Anne this impressive hourglass figure to the very expensive minimalist jewellery to the pristine hair and make up, I can’t fault it. Only thing left to do, would be for PIxiwoo or Tanya Burr to do a make up tutorial about it. 🙂
I am totally loving Victoia Beckham’s dress. It’s her own design and she is totally rocking it in this picture. It is a maxi dress with a corset style top section, with a black leather belt and a split up the back. David Beckham is looking very handsome as normal and both together they are a super couple. That is even though all the papers have been giving Victoria a hard time for looking tired. She has just had a baby like 7 months ago or less and she has taken her new S/S12 range to Fashion week all around the world.I’d be looking tired too if I did that too. Well done Posh and Becks, Keep up the good work.
I am completely in love with this amazingly delicate floor length lace Alice Temperley dress. I’ve never seen anything like this, it is so beautiful and statuesque. Adorable! I really hope at some point somebody makes a high street version just as beautiful. I will defiantly buy it.
