Charlotte Tilbury’s Beauty Glow Look in a Palette

There have been so many beautiful products especially palettes that have come out recently but one that currently stands out is the Beauty Glow Look in a palette from world famous make up artist to the stars Charlotte Tilbury. As the name suggests, the products that were inspired by Poppy Delevingne’s wedding look promote that gorgeous glow from the inside out with rose gold and bronze tones that look amazing on every skin type.

IMG_0893

Charlotte Tilbury once said that using her products is like having her ‘sitting on your shoulder when you put on your make up, like I’m holding your hand’. and this genius compact palette really does make you feel like that. Especially as each product is numbered 1 through to 7 and has a short one word description of where the product is going too. There are three gorgeous eye colours, two cheek colours, one that could also be used as a forth eye colour , a highlighter and a bronzer.

IMG_0894

The look is quick and simple and is a look that you can create in only take 5 minutes. It looks very pulled together and is perfect for that everyday vibe. A wash of colour over the whole eye area to brighten the area, Then a dab of the middle colour, which is then also taken under the eye to enhance and lastly for the eyes a smoky colour that just goes in the crease and you can pull this out slightly for a winged effect.

Now for the bronzer which is in the filmstar bronze and glow formula, blend  it well into the hollows of your cheeks, then take the colour under the jaw line, again onto the hollows of your cheeks then onto your forehead blending well into the hair line too. Now for the blushers, start 5 and lightly swish the product over the cheeks. Then pop the lighter and brighter number 6 on the apple of the cheek. The highlighter then goes on the top of the cheeks, just under the outer section of the eye brows, the cupids bow and you can also run it lightly down the length of the nose too.

I’ve found myself wearing this palette a lot recently. The look you get with the palette fits amazingly with a wash of the matte revolution lippie pillow talk. The touch of nude is a fabulous finishing touch. I’ve also found that the products last really well on the skin too.

Will you be popping down to your nearest Charlotte Tilbury stand to buy this palette or have you already got it? Let me know you thoughts

June Favourites 2017

Monthly favourites are some of the best blog posts to write mainly because I get to talk about my most loved products that I’ve been using, rediscovering and enjoyed using through out that month. This month there’s only been a few products but I think there’s a great selection.

IMG_0906

I recently went to Ibiza for my birthday with my husband. It was beautifully hot and the island is gorgeous so when I saw this picture on a painters stall I just had to have it to bring home and as it reminded me of our time there and how much I want to go back.

IMG_0908

First up product wise is the Chanel correcteur perfection – this concealer is gorgeous. It lasts a long time, it blends incredibly and it sits on your skin like a silky veil. It mixes well with other products and concealers too. I currently have a little bit of a tan so I’ve been mixing it with my Mac Pro Longwear concealer as that’s a little darker. I will always keep coming back to this one as it’s one of those products you just don’t forget.

IMG_0912

Yves Saint Lauren Glow Shot is an intense liquid highlighter and it’s perfect for the hot Summer days. They have three tones but I’ve been enjoying using the colour sunrise. It’s a pink highlighter that gives an amazing glow. It’s subtle yet beautiful.

IMG_0915

Charlotte Tilbury products are so gorgeous, especially the Uptown Girl palette that I received from my husband for my birthday recently. It’s ultra luxe with 4 very pigmented colours. Perfect for the hotter weather if you want that subtle smoky day look that you can build on for the evening teamed with a little lippie in pillow talk.  All the colours have a little bit of sparkle in them especially the pink and they really do last. I can see that this palette will be a keeper and it’s made me want to buy more of the Charlotte Tilbury products.

IMG_0917

The Clinique Moisture Surge – Hydrating Supercharged Concentrate looks like it might just be a  little bit of a gimmick but when I started using this I released it was anything but. I have really dehydrated skin that needs moisturizing products. I’ve been using the Clarins hydrate day/night moisture creams and using these in combination have really done wonders. After cleansing, I pop a thin layer of the concentrate all over my face and leave it to sink in before putting on my moisturiser. It then gives a great base for make up.

IMG_0916

Last but not least is this stunning primer from The Ordinary. I recently went to a fab event with Deciem and Really Ree and there was plenty of raving about this product . The High – Adherence Silocone Primer smoothes, hydrates and blurs using advanced adapting silicones. It’s a great base that makes concealers, foundations etc look amazing. Use a really thin layer to get the best results.

March Beauty Favourites!

It’s almost the end of March and so I’ve gathered up some of my favourites products from this month to tell you all about. Some are new products that I’ve never tried before and some are just blogger favourites that I just had to try out. IMG_0012

I bought the Armani Si fragrance in the Christmas sales and this mascara Eccentrico came with it. I’ve put off trying it for a while but when I started to use it at the start of the month I did wonder why I hadn’t used it sooner. The product itself it really lovely, physician lasts a long time and makes my eye lashes look amazing. They look so long when I wear this and I always get comments about how they look like false lashes. Bonus!

IMG_0025

The Stella McCartney Pop fragrance is pretty, hospital  subtle and fiercely feminine. It’s such a Spring/Summer scent that I love to wear and it turns out that my mum and I both bought this perfume for each other at Christmas because we both love it so much. Great minds huh!  I just know it’s going to be one that I keep going back too.

IMG_0015

I picked up this Tanya Burr Enchanted Dream palette on a whim at the beginning of the month and I’m so glad that I did. The colours are beautiful and they blend so well too. The colours really go well together and I especially love the colours Cocoa Plum and Berry Soufflé.

IMG_0018

The Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution lipstick in Pillow Talk is one that hasn’t been off my lips since I bought it. I hadn’t tried the lipliner of the same colour but I think I might now. It gives great definition and the colour really suits everyone. I wear mine with a little gloss in the centre for a little added touch.

IMG_0020

The Retoucher from Charlotte Tilbury is a great concealer. It covers really well and lasts so long too. I had a little bit of bother with mine to begin with and I’m hoping that it hasn’t used up all of the product. You don’t need to use much, approved as a little goes a long way. I love Charlotte Tilbury products and I’m tempted to try more.

IMG_0028

My husband very kindly bought this for me for Valentine’s Day and what a treat it is. I loved the Naked Basics palette and so this is like a dream palette for me really. I tend to stick to the colours on the top row but I sometimes use some of the brighter ones to change it up a little. The brush is also fab and it’s so cute being slightly smaller than the average brush and the packaging is beautiful. It’s a keeper!

Charlotte Tilbury Product Shopping Trip!

Charlotte Tilbury is somewhat of a legend in the beauty industry. I’ve only used one of her products before which is the lipstick in Secret Selma and it’s quickly became a favourite as it’s the perfect deep nude pink. I love the names of the products, page they’re so cool and it’s as if each is a little make up artist secret being divulged and we all have to keep.

IMG_0003

When I was recently in London I nipped past one of my most visited spots in Covent Garden and just had to have a peek at the some of the products inside, mind in particular the new limited edition matte revolution lipstick in Pillow Talk. There a lip liner of the same name that is well loved by everyone. It’s the perfect nude, not to dark or too light and it suits everyone so they’ve brought it out in lipstick form. I knew that I had to have it and bought it on the spot, which happened to be just in time as it was the last in stock. Someone else was actually asking about it too so I didn’t dally around. I’ve worn it most days since then and it’s definitely a new favourite.

IMG_0006

I really hope that this lipstick gets made into a main line product because it’s so pretty and very well loved by all. Although I did get told a trick if mine ever runs out in the future. It was to fill in the lips with the lip liner of the same name and to dab a little vaseline or clear lip balm in the centre to add a touch more moisture. When I was in the shop I had a good look at the other colours and I also loved Hot Emily and Kidman’s Kiss as they look like they’d be fab Spring/Summer colours.

IMG_0009

I later went back as I was also in the market for a concealer and the retoucher seemed perfect. It was great for my under eye area which currently needs a little bit of tlc. It covers all of my dark circles and stays inplace for hours although I think mine is faulty as there is currently an issue in getting the actual product out and having too much of it come out at once. I’ll be talking to the company this week and hoping they can help me.

Do let me know if you have been loving these products as much me in the comments below or on Twitter.

Christmas Wish List!

christmas-wish-list

I’ve written a few gift guides now but I thought that I would collate some of the things that I’m hoping to see under the Christmas tree in a wish list.

The first is an amazing scent from Jo Malone. Every time I go into the shop I find another fragrance I love, seek they just have so many scents and they all layer so well too. My favourites at the moment are Wood Sage and Sea Salt, web Mimosa and Cardamon, stuff Peony and Blush Suede , Blue Agave and Cacao and Velvet Rose and Oud. So yummy smelling!

I love Kate Spade and I love the collections that she brings out. The most recent is this gorgeous bunny rabbit set and this phone case with bunny ears with the quote “I’m all ears”. is the cutest. It’s relatively inexpensive and would be fab for a stocking filler.

Next up is this amazing smart watch from Guess. This phone does so much. I’m really into running and fitness at the moment and it has a fitness tracker, you can also connect your phone so you can get your emails and texts on your watch which comes in very handy if your at work and also on a run. It also does so much more too. The watch itself looks amazing too.

This Karen Millen jacket is so cool. The shade of red is beautiful and is a military design not overly so it’s so stylish. It’s warm and would look great with most of the clothes in my wardrobe for this time of year.

Health and Fitness is on my mind quite a lot of the time and so the Apple watch is a perfect addition. It works in much the same way as the Guess watch as it’s great for tracking your steps, health and fitness, keeps your messages and emails are at your finger tips, and it has much more besides. It also looks amazing too.

You can’t have too much make up and this Dolce Vita palette from Charlotte Tilbury is one that I’ve had my eye on for quite some time. The brown and glitter colours of the palette are quite something. They’re easy to wear, they blend delicately and the main glitter shade can be packed on to the eye lid for an ultra festive look. Perfect!

I saw this pretty and delicate Rose Gold Organic ring from Accessorise recently in store. It reminds me of the Monika Vinader River ring . It’s so stylish and sits beautifully on the hand with a twinkle. It also is great for stacking rings too, a trend that is becoming bigger in the past few years.

Finally a Neom candle, a brand that Kate, Duchess of Cambridge herself has. This specific candle is Pine, Myrrh and Lime and smells devine and so do all of the candles especially the Christmas collection. One of my other favourite candles is Maroccan Blush Rose, Lime and Black Pepper. It actually smells of Turkish Delight, a smell that is so yummy.

What is on your Christmas Wish List? Let me now in the comments below.

Positively, the most vital element that is considered while buying drugs from the Web is to make a right choice. To order remedies online from a respectable web-site is safe. Let’s talk about numerous possibilities. If you’re concerned about erectile health problem, you have to learn about “levitra 10mg” and “levitra cost per pill“. Did somebody tell you about “cheapest generic levitra“? Don’t forget, consider “undefined”. Young men with sexual dysfunctions need vocational help. The treatment plan depends greatly on the precise cause of the sexual problem. Along with their good effects, most medicaments, even so, can cause unwanted aftereffects although commonly not everyone experiences them. Online sex therapist services are the only safe variant if you are going to buy remedies, like Viagra, online.

3 Autumn Lip colours!

I recently bought three really amazing lipsticks that I’ve been loving. They’re actually all really similar colours but I’ve found that this is the warm tone I love for this time of the year.

img_4024

The first shade is a Hot Gossip from Mac. The packaging looks luxurious and the formulation is a creme sheen which almost looks like a frosted finish due to how shiny it is. It lasts really well and is really moisturising. It has a subtle purple tint to the shade which is really easy to wear and it’s also perfect for a daytime or evening look too.  I recently found that it’s actually a pinker version of syrup by Mac too.

img_4036

The next colour is from Urban Decay and is the shade Liar. It’s a slightly more brown/nude than the last one. The pigmentation of this colour is really good as one swipe of the bullet gives plenty of colour. Again this is a creme formula which I love but when on this actually feel very light but it lasts a long time. You can wear it for the office slightly patted into the lip, cialis 40mg but it transitions well to evening too. I love the packaging with the two tone gold and gun metal grey.

img_4034

The last shade is a beautiful colour called Secret Salma from Charlotte Tilbury and my first ever lipstick from her line and I’m really impressed. I love the gorgeous rose gold packaging and it catches everyones eye when your applying it. This lipstick is slightly pinker than the last one and is from the new Hot Lips collection and is a Luminous Modern-Matte formula. I’m not usually one for matte lipsticks as I hate the drying effect matte lipsticks have but this one has a really buttery texture with the Orchid extract that is included, online and it feels amazing on the lips. It was named after the beautiful Mexican actress Selma Hayek, web and encapsulates her sexiness.  It also really brings out the eye colour of everyone that wears it. I love to wear it blotted onto the lip for just a tint of colour in the daytime. For an evening look I pop this on with a touch a little gloss in the centre. It’s so flattering.

img_4028

Here’s the swatches of each colour from right to left, CT’s Secret Salma, Urban Decay Liar and Mac Hot Gossip.

Birmingham with Travelodge!

My husband and I recently went to Birmingham for the first time as part of the #Bloggerlodge with Travelodge. Two nights in a complementary double room and time to explore the city. We had such fun.

We arrived quite late on Friday evening after a three and a half hour train journey. Different from my regular train journeys that I take as it was a Virgin train, dosage quite a luxury for me. It was warm, roomy and made even better by the film that we watched, Dark Night Returns. It’s a great watch if you haven’t already seen it.

When we got to Birmingham New Street train station the Travelodge hotel was a short walk around the Bullring. Situated in China Town district of the city meant it was close to the bars and restaurants and the theatre. When we arrived at the Travelodge we checked in and were directed to the room which was lovely and quite large. It was also minimalist but included all the essentials.

We could have a convienient breakfast in the morning at the hotel but we choose to be slightly more adventurous and found our way to the Boston Tea Party,  a funky rustic style cafe.  It sold some really yummy food including warm croissant filled with mushrooms, Chai Latte and a nut porridge with fruit compote. So yummy! They also had pretty awesome looking Carrot Cake and Brownies. Ultra yum!

Beyond the high street shops were plenty of cool little cafe’s and eateries hidden away if you knew where to look. We stumbled upon these slightly quirky and greek style buildings and statues that turned out to be a museum and the town hall. What a great find.

We made our way to the shops and found ourselves in Selfridges. There was so much to look at, the bulls made out of jelly beans, the perfumes in Jo Malone which we fell in love with and I had a mini eye make-over at the Charlotte Tilbury counter. I also came away from my make over with a slightly naughty purchase of the Blondie Lip lustre. It’s now a favourite and it’s started a small make up brand obsession. Have you seen those eye crayons?

In the evening, we went to Jekyll and Hyde which was an old victorian style pub slightly outside the city centre which specialises in Gin cocktails. Neither of us are big gin drinkers but we tried a cocktail each with our food which was awesome. We had a chick pea and sweet potato burger with chips and red cabbage, so filling and yummy! Everywhere you looked there were oddities and quirky decorations and they even had the Jekyll and Hyde and Street Car Named Disire movies playing on a projector screen.

On the way back to our hotel in the evening we stopped off at a few bars including an awesome little BrewDog bar. It was really busy but had a great atmosphere. They had a lot of unique beer, ales and guest brews on tap which my husband loved. They also had a live DJ spinning some old 60’s records which was a great way to end the night.
