My July Favourites 2017

This month has been a great one for favourites so lets get straight into it and have a look at July’s Favourites.

I’ve been testing out this Garnier Nourishing Botanical Toner Honey Flower for a review that I did for the Really Ree site. I always find that it’s best to use these types of product in combination with another to cleanse fully but for me I found this was quick and easy to use.  It doesn’t smell and it’s also really light on the skin, so light in fact that it just feel like water. I’ve been using it non stop since  I got it.

My husband bought the Jo Malone Nectarine Blossom and Honey fragrance for my birthday and I’ve been wearing it ever since. It’s light, delicate and fruity. Perfect for Summer and theres no way it could miss out on a place in my favourites.

I’m a big fan of Youtubers so when Louise Pentland came out with a number 1 best selling book Wilde like Me, I couldn’t just pass me by so I bought it so see what all the fuss was about. I actually loved it and although I usually love to read books really quickly, I saved this one for the evenings just before bed to wind down to instead of reading my phone. I have to buy more because it’s something I’ve really enjoyed as well as the story.

The L’oreal Colour Riche polishes are pretty lovely. With their gorgeous textured bottle through to the colour that really lasts on the nail. This one in Rue Cremieux in a muted pink will go with any outfit and add that extra feminine touch.

Charlotte Tilbury is really smashing it at the moment and this new Beauty Glow palette is something that I’ve been enjoying using quite a lot. The seven products are numbered so it’s easy to use and the blend beautifully. I really love the highlighter and the centre blush too as they’re so pretty.

May Favourites!

IMG_3813 First up is one of my most loved products, it’s the Rituals foaming shower gel in the Happy Buddha – Organic mandarin and yuzu fragrance. If you haven’t smelt this before, you really must go and seek this product out. It smells like the most fruitiest of oranges and it really does make you happy to smell it. The product itself reminds me of the Imperial Leather foaming gel as you only need a little product for it to foam up. It’s luxurious and moisturising and a joy to use. It’s quite expensive though at £8.50 but I tend to go for it when I see it on sale. IMG_3811 This Oil Infused Micellar Water from Garnier is really light and really does take off all of my make up even the little water proof make up that I use. You shake it up to activate it and I’ve loved using it. Mainly because it doesn’t leave a horrible residue that most make up removers leave behind which is always a plus. It’s defiantly one to check out next time you go to look for make up remover. IMG_3812 I’m a big fan of the Baylis and Harding hand washes. I normally go for the yellow sweet Manderin and grapefruit as it smells like lemon sherbet but we saw this hydrating honey hand wash, loved the smell. My hands are quite fussy and go dry with most hand wash so when I find one that I like I stick with it. This one is beautiful. It smells devine and really looks after my hands. It’s quite cheap but lasts an age so if you see it, check it out. IMG_3818 My next product of May that I’ve been loving is the Chanel Rouge Coco Stylo. Now this is supposed to be a three in one product, shine of a lipgloss, the intense colour of a lipstick and the comfort of a lip balm. I have it in 208 – Roman and I’ve really been enjoying wear this product since I bought it.  It doesn’t feel like I have product on although I have found that I have to reapply it quite often. It’s a beautiful product though and one that you should swatch if you get a chance. EApalette I received the Elizabeth Arden Limted Edition Sunset Bronze Summer collection this month and I haven’t been able to stop using it. Specifically the eye palette, the colours blend really nicely and look amazing. They all go really well together and you can do a muted day time look really easily, and add some of the brighter colours to take your look to evening too. IMG_3815 When I’ve not been wearing the eye palette colours from Elizabeth Arden, I’ve been loving the Clarins Limited Edition Waterproof Cream eyeshadows in Silver Taupe and Copper brown. They go on really nicely and the colours are beautiful although it’s quite an art to put these colours on without them creasing. You really have to prime the colours correctly so that doesn’t happen. It’s been fun to work out the best way of using them this month. CLarinslipoil This product is the new Instant Light Comfort lip oil from Clarins in the colour Red Berry. It smells beautiful. This one has a slight plumping effect and it works on moisturising and nourishing the lips and it really does work. You can wear it on its own or over a lipstick to add a little something. Let me know what you’ve been loving in May in the comments below. I’d love to know your thoughts. Happy shopping!

January Favourites

IMG_3239 I bought the Urban Decay Smoky palette when it was first released last year. I’d used just a few colours quite a bit then gave it a break due to having quite a few palettes to review. I recently came back to this palette and have used it quite a lot over mid December and January and have allen in love with it all over again. I love the matte colours Password, Whiskey and Combust. They make for a perfect day time smoky eye look. IMG_3246   I really love this mascara as it really separates and volumises. It does this without clumping but strangely as the name might suggests it makes them feel really velvety. Crazy cool and I’ve been loving it ever since I was sent it by the lovely people at Max Factor. IMG_3256   Clarins have had some more colours of the Instant Light Natural Lip Protectors and this gorgeous plum shimmer has been a firm go to. It’s a beautiful colour and i really enjoy wear it as it really makes you look fab. IMG_3250   This Garner Mircellar Water has been repurchased quite a few times and I’ve recently bought a new one so it just had to go in this months favourites. It doesn’t hurt or sting your eyes when your wipe them, it takes make up off quickly and efficiently and it’s overall just a really great product to use. IMG_3251   Laura Mercier’s caviar sticks are really beautiful products. My favourite is the amethyst, which is a brown/purple colour. The product itself is just like caviar to put on and it really lasts especially with a bit of primer underneath it. IMG_3255 My perfume choices have changed greatly since I was younger. This perfume Estee Lauders Modern Muse Le Rouge is not something that  I would normally choose but it’s a really lovely fragrance and it smells amazing. It’s described as fruity and floral. It also lasts a long time and I have been getting a lot of compliments on it since I bought it. IMG_3243 I bought this colouring book on a bit of a wim. When I was a teenager I would always colour and a lot of people, family, friends would ask why I was doing it, and insinuate that I was a little too old to do it. I always felt that it was quite therapeutic and would destress me quite a lot whenI was able to do it. So I loved it when colouring books were recently brought out for older generations for this same reason. I always knew there was something in it so I have really enjoyed colouring this Enchanted Forest book in. DO you think that you will try colouring books or do you colour already? IMG_3264   I’m planning on going into a little deeper detail with some other individual posts but do let me know what products you have been loving this month in the comments below. Happy shopping!
