For my birthday, my sister-in-law bought me the coolest black and gold personalised wash/make up bag. She bought it from the Tillyanna at Not on the High Street. It’s such a simple yet brilliant pressie and I’m sure it will feature on the site a lot more to come. Inside my beautiful make up bag is the Mac Pro Long wear Waterproof colour stick in Copperpot. I’m a big fan of waterproof eye shadow and this one is a great. It’s very long wearing as the name suggests and it’s also a great colour. I’ve been wearing it non stop with a little dark brown in the corners. It’s a simple look that I love. I received this Clarins Supra volume Mascara and I’ve been loving this so much this month too. When it says that it volumes it really does what it says on the packaging. Oh the gold packaging is classy and so sophisticated. The product itself volumises, lengthens and makes your lashes look amazing and not spider like. Perfect! I had a spot break out on my forehead over the last few months and so I was recommended 7 day scrub rinse off formula from Clinique. Its a formula that you can use day and night for sensitive skin and it’s definitely helped the affected area. This month I’ve just finished up using the Neal’s Yard Nurturing Rose Shampoo. It’s a really beautiful shampoo that smells amazing. It makes your hair feel great too and it feels light and fresh. It’s one I’ve really enjoyed using and I’m a little sad is finished. I’ve always struggled a little when doing eye liner so when this Grandiose Eyeliner from Lancome with movable arm on the lid was released just a few weeks ago, I just had to give this a try. You can get a really thin line and it’s great to get a good flick too. I’ve been loving using it. One of my best friends gave me some Number 7 make up and the stand out product that I’ve been loving is this great deep purple eye liner pencil. The colour is gorgeous, dark but softer than black and it also has a smudger on the other end too. What products have you been loving this month and have you tried any of the products that I choose this month? Let me know in the comments below. Happy shopping!
1. Olivia Burton Big Chrono watch £135 Olivia Burton Watches have some of my favourites designs. They come in classic styles with an edgy mix of old and new. Flowers, insects of birds adorn the chic structures or they may even be plain. This Big Chrono watch is large yet beautiful with the black clock face and the rose gold hard wear, its sure to go with everything. 2. Lancome Gradiose eyeliner £23 I loved the Lancome Grandiose mascara, it’s one of the few mascaras I enjoy wearing so when I saw that Lancome were bringing out this beauty, it’s just gone in at the top of my wish list. I really struggle with my eye liner so I’m hoping this new one with the bendy handle will really help. It comes in three fab colours, black, blue and a brown and is sure to help you create that on fleek eye liner flick. 3. Misguided Striped Bardot Crop Top £15 Off the shoulder dresses and tops are huge this season and I haven’t found the right one for my shape or build as yet. You have to be carful that they don’t slouch or come off the shoulders when you move. I know that the positioning of the fabric is also really important for me too as it can sometimes make my shoulders and arms bigger than they are. There is definitely a nack to wearing this kind of top but this one from Misguided seems like it would fit me well and sit in place on my shoulders. I also love the stripes on this top and at £15 it’s such a bargain. 4. Kurt Geiger Saffiano London Tote £165 Pastle shades are huge for these summer months and I have a particular love for lilac and so when I saw this Kurt Geiger Saffiano London Tote on their site I had to pop it on the wish list too. The shade of blue is so pretty as it’s almost a lilac grey blue which is such an on trend colour for this season. It’s in the sale so it’s a great price and size. It will even carry your laptop. 5. Oasis Ditsy Buttoned Dress £38 The ditsy print is pretty and I love wearing dresses that are a little different. This one is right up there as it has the light/dark pink flower combination and criss cross straps at the back. It’s effortless yet so summery even with the dark colouring. It would go so well with heels and a little shoulder bag or a pair or sandals and a denim jacket. 6. Clarice – Carvela Comfort £49 I love these nude Clarice comfort . As I mentioned earlier, I’m addicted to pastle colors so a great nude pink slip on is just amazing for this time of year. I had a really similar pair of bright pink Uggs a few years ago that I lived in over the summer months and these will really be a great fit. Everyone needs a comfy slip on in their wardrobe, they’re so practical and are sure to be admired by friends. The best bit is that they are also in the sale too. Perfect! Michael Kors bag a few months now. I received it from my lovely husband for Christmas 2014. I’ve wanted it for quite a few years so he certainly knows me well. I’ve perfected what I have in my bag a little more now and it tends to change by day if I have meetings and things but heres the main contents of my new bag. I love how there are compartments, this is what drew me to it in the first place as it makes organising my items easier. It has a middle section that will hold my laptop if I need to transport it anywhere which is a definite bonus too. I’m never without a note pad as you never know when you’ll have an amazing idea for a post or find out about a product of some kind. I also always have a diary with me as I have everything in hard copy form as well as on my phone which is also here. These two are both from Paperchase. You can’t beat that shop! My two pens are from Swarovski and are both pink, one of my favourite colours. The phone is an Apple iPhone 5 which I’m hoping to upgrade soon. You can’t be without keys as these are for my flat. The pretty keyring is from Cath Kidston. I met her a few years ago and this keyring reminds me of that time. I also bought the Michael Kors purse at christmas with some of the money I received. It’s my perfect purse as it looks classic and matches my gorgeous bag. It has lots of space for change, cards and a few bonus old school pics of my husband in the back somewhere. I always have some pink business cards for my blog on me. I’m waiting for these to run out so that I can update my email account with my married name. Hee hee! As for the products, I always have Nurofen in my bag as I suffer from dreaded Migraines, Bleagh! Hand cream makes a big appearance in Winter as my hands are always so dry. This one is Neutrogena Norwegian Formula and it’s pretty good but it tends to change every day depending on how they feel. If I have sore cut hands I’ve been recently reaching for the Cowshed – Cowslip Sweet Orange and Peppermint version. It closes the cuts up really quickly and is really soothing which is great because they can really hurt. I always have a perfume or deodorant too. Todays is My Burberry by Burberry which is so warm and luxurious for the winter. Totally my favourite scent at the moment although I tend to change them up seasonally. In my SewLomax make up bag I have the Soap and Glory – A Great Kisser lip balm in Juicy Peach and lip gloss in Sexy Mother Pucker. Such a great- your lips but better colour and gloss. I also have the cute compact bee mirror I received for my birthday, the lemonade Lanolips and Urban Decay’s Lovelight which is a current favourite. I also have the Lancome Hypnose Star Mascara as I’m a big fan of this mascara, a gorgeous bright but deep red Topshop lipstick in Really Ruby as you never know when you’ll need to make yourself look posh. I also have Max Factor’s Colour Elixir Gloss in Radiant Rose as it’s my favourite gloss of all time and Maybelline’s Lash Sensational Mascara as I’m trying it out for a review. So many thing’s and I’m surprised I get it all in half the time. Eeek! Have you got any of these products or have you got a link for your what’s in my bag? Let me know in the comments below.
