Wednesday Wishlist!

Wishlist Wednesday is a little late this week but I have so many lovely things to show you, lets get straight into it.
1. Mac liptensity lipstick – Mulling Spices
First up is this fab Liptensity Lipsticks from Mac. It’s a beautiful deep red from the new range that came out at the end of last year. Mulling Spices is great for this time of the year. The lips itself has a fab colour pay off but melts to the lips like a lip balm so it will keep your lips nourished in this colder weather.
2. New Look – Navy Cable Knit Cardigain
I really love a good cardigan to layer over t-shirts and short sleeves dresses. It’s a great way to give some longevity to your Autumn wardrobe. This thick Cable knit from New Look is perfect and will look amazing with a multitude of outfits. It also comes in a number of different colours too.
3. Hush – Short Parka
I’m loving this gorgeous little black Parka from Hush. I seriously want everything from this shop. It’s an expensive one but the quality is amazing and you know it will last. This jacket looks seriously warm with the faux fur lining the full jacket which is just what you need in this weather. It will go with everything and the style is up to date and so in season right now too.
4. Missoma – Starlight half star studs
I’m in love with these Starlight half star studs from Missoma Jewellery from this company at the moment is well sort after and I can see why.  These earrings are such a statement but one that you could get away with wearing every day. You are sure to get everyone talking about them!
5. Silk Fred – Black Faux Suede Over the Knee Boots
Over the knee boots are a trend that comes back every year. I never thought I would ever suit something like this but personal styles changes and allows for new things all the time. Over the knee boots can be tacky but I’ve found that the heel shape is key to this and these boots from Silkfred are lovely and actually a really great dupe for the Weitzman boots too.
6. Hush – Sintra Shirt
Like I said earlier I really do love everything from Hush so my second choice for this wish list is this ultra cool mini lightning bolt print Sintra shirt. It’s great quality so it’s going to look great for a long time both tucked in or left untucked, and also is great for layering too. It’s that investment piece you can rely on. I’m also a huge Bowie fan so it has a double meaning for his fans too.
Are you loving the products in this wish list? Do you have any of these products or do you have your eye on one or two of them ? Let me know in the comments below or over on my Twitter.

Wednesday Autumn Wishlist!

Wednesday Autumn Wishlist

Wednesday Autumnal Wishlist!

Autumn is that transitional time of year when the lighter layers and the boots come out and it’s one of my favourite times of year. I mean who doesn’t love Halloween and Fireworks night. I thought I would gather together a few of my favourite bits in the shops right now to show you.

Chanel – City Lights Palette

First up is this beautiful Limited Edition Chanel City Lights Palette . Four pretty Autumnal colours, there’s a natural pink to illuminate, an auburn toned brown, a grey toned brown both to blend over the eye and a deep brown to add depth. They’re all different textures matte, satin, iridescent and metallic. They make for a really gorgeous look and it’s one that everyone should go and test out.

Mint Velvet – Rose Gold Metallic Ombre Knit

I must really be really loving this metallic trend because this is the second item in this Wishlist. This Rose Gold Metallic Ombre Knit from Mint Velvet is a really pretty colour with a fab warm knit. I’m loving the ribbed effect as the style really reminds me of a Victoria Beckham jumper that has been all over Instagram. It’s also in the sale so I might just rush out and buy it now.

H and M – Monkey Patterned Skirt

I love my basics but occasionally I love a beautiful item to change up my wardrobe a little and this gorgeous monkey patterned skirt from H and M is that item. It’s super neutral and would be fab with a neutral jumper and heels or boots. I love it!

New Look – Black Floral Print Pocket Front Midi Shirt Dress

At this time of year I love wearing tea dresses and shirt dresses with a little warm jacket or a jumper. This gorgeous black floral print pocket front midi shirt dress from New Look is a perfect dress to do that with. It would be so pretty with a high sock boot, which is so on trend right now.

Office – Logan Point Chelsea Boots

Lastly I’ve chosen these Logan Point Chelsea Boots from Office . I live in a heeled chelsea boot in the Autumn. They’re so flattering on the legs, and they really do go with everything. You could wear these with a dress and tights or with a pair of jeans and the wide heel is also great if it gets a little frosty too. This particular pair are also currently in the sale. Bargain!
What items have you been picking up now the weather has got a little colder, and will you be picking up any of these items? Let me know in the comments below or on twitter.

Anniversary Wish List!

Anniversary Wishlist
I’m off to Berlin next week with my husband as it’s our wedding anniversary – three years, how did that even happen. The weather is getting colder so I’ve put together a few things that might be nice to wear for this special trip away.
1. First up is this gorgeous red and black skirt from H and M, it’s the star style of skirt for the season and the print of this one is so pretty. It will go perfectly with a black t-shirt or an all in one and a leather jacket.
2. Next up is this gorgeous long sleeve black and white spot dress from New Look. In the Autumn I live in these dresses with heels and a cute cardigan or jacket. This one is perfect for walking around the city, and exploring, teamed with some trainers.
3. Next up is this gorgeous Ted Baker dress. I love the Kyoto Gardens pattern and the style, it’s so effortless to wear. Teamed with a pair of heels and a pale jacket it’s perfect for a wedding but teamed with cardi or a leather jacket and some heels. This outfit is perfect for an anniversary meal.
4. I saw someone wearing a beautiful and unique pair of Converse on the train the other day. I spend most of my time running errands, and walking a lot of miles especially when exploring a new city like Berlin so this black leather pair of Converse with white soles seemed perfect. They’ll go with everything.
5. Debenhams shoe hall is full of amazing designer dupes. I love these Faith lace up boots particularly as they’re really fab dupes for the Gucci heels that are everywhere right now. They’ll go with skirts and jeans and see you right through Winter too. Bonus!
6. Finally I’ve been looking for a red bag for the last few months that would go with my wardrobe and I think this might be the one. As I’ve said before red is going to be big this season, so this Belsize bag from Hobbs with it’s cross strap and its smaller size will be great for travelling as well as every day use.
Have you been loving any of the items in this weeks wish list? Let me know in the comments below or over on my Twitter.

My Wednesday Wishlist!

Wednesday Wishlist
There are so many beautiful things in the shops at the moment and I thought that I would share a few of my favourite pieces. Here’s my Wednesday Wishlist!
1.First up is this gorgeous floral print ruffle dress from Missguided. This dress is so effortless and pretty. It would be perfect with a little pair of heels in the Autumn or a pair of ankle boots and jacket.
2.Next up is a brand that I have written about many times before Olivia Burton. You know me, I love anything with a bee on it and this open ended bee bracelet is ultra gorgeous – It would add that perfect final touch to any outfit!
3.I noticed this daisy print by a brand called Nobody’s Child on Asos the other day and I’ve been day dreaming of it ever since. It’s so pretty with the polka dots on the dark background with a small floral print. Short dresses are so in right now too.
4.I’m a big fan of peplum tops when they’re done well and this high necked lace peplum top from Missguided is really cute. Missguided definitely really are killing it with their latest collection this season!
5. I love designer accessories like everyone but I’m not always so keen on the price tag that comes with them so when this Prada-esque bag from New Look popped up on my screen recently I went a little crazy. It fits so much in and would be perfect for any outfit. It’s a must buy.
6. The last dress that I’ve picked out is this pretty Oasis meets ZSL dress. It’s covered in animals of all kinds hiding in the foliage. It’s so pretty and kinda bold too so I just had to pop it in the wishlist. I love the plunge neckline as it’s perfect for an evening out or just a summers day enjoying the sun.
7. Last but no means least is the GHD curling wand. Curled hair is always in and I would love to use a curling wand that makes a curly hair style a little quicker to put together and I think this might be the wand to help with that. They’re expensive but really worth the money.
Are you loving these products as much as me? Are you planning to buy any of these or do you already own some of them? Let me know over on my twitter.

Blossoming Gifts bouquet and an outfit of the day!

The weather is wet! If you’re going to a festival, take a poncho – lunch on a rooftop garden, you might want to take an umbrella, thinking of going to the beach this weekend – forget about it! It’s been raining for three weeks and the outside fun has officially been put on hold.
It’s even turned a little chilly so why not reach into your wardrobe for that Spring jacket. You know the one you thought you wouldn’t need until next year, well at least for the next few days until the weather has gets its act together.
I’ve been teaming my New Look embroidered faux leather jacket with summer skirts like this stripy one from Oasis, a black Topshop cami with cute New Look white slip on trainers and the mini Michael Kors bag.  It’s keeping me warm as well as helping me look a little stylish. I’ve even popped this Blossoming Gifts Summer Cocktail Bouquet with it to brighten up my look. I love the Lilies, mini Sunflowers, and Stocks. They’re so bright and make me happy.
If you’re looking to brighten up your dreary day too, get your flowers from Blossoming Gifts!
Stay warm and stylish!

I love Embroidery, A wish List!

embroidered-wishlist Embroidery is a huge trend this year and slowly but surely it’s has been sweeping into every look. It’s rapidly becoming one of my favourite trends as it’s such an easy one to master. I thought that I would gather some of my favourite items to show you. 1. This fully embroidered dress from River Island is really pretty. It has so much intricate detail yet it still looks amazing and it’s so flattering to wear too. It would be perfect for a date night or maybe even a wedding too. 2. Dresses are some of my favourite items to wear at the moment mainly because they go with everything especially a fab pair of heeled ankle boots and a cool bag. This black stud and embroidered dress is subtle yet stylish. It’ll be perfect for the Spring season with a denim jacket or if you’re feeling brave a leather jacket too. 3. I love this shirt from Topshop. It’s subtle being white but it packs a punch with two trends, with the feminine bell sleeves and scalloped detailing down the front. The embroidery is so pretty, this top will go with everything. Come on, what are you waiting for? Buy this one and work those Spring styles. It’s gorgeous. 4. I really love this slouchy embroidered sweatshirt from Warehouse. It’s casual but cool and it will create the most amazing up to date look teamed with a mini or a midi skirt and heels. 5. There a lot of embroidered bags out there at the moment but this cute black one from Miss Selfridge is the bees knees. It will go with so many outfits and will be the star of the show too. 6. The jean look with embroidery is very much a classic 60’s look and it’s coming back larger than life. I love the lovely designs especially these embroidered Jamie Jeans from Topshop and although you’d have to be careful what you teamed it with, you’d be right on trend and everyone will want these jeans too. 7. I love a simple casual look updated with embroidery as it brings the look right up to date. My favourites are these silver trainers with bright pink embroidery from New Look. They’ve very understated yet so pretty! Are you loving the embroidered look this season too? Let me know in the comments below. Happy Shopping!

Valentine's Day Outfit for the evening!

valentines-outfits   It’s Valentine’s Day and I thought that I would put together a quick post with a few outfit ideas for this evening. 1. The first is this really cool blue Phase Eight Becky lace dress. It’s a body con that has high neck with short sleeves. It’s really on trend and would be great for Valentine’s Day, with a black pair of heels and a cute bag. 2. The second is a long sleeved knee length dress and these are one of my favourite trends at the moment. I love this dress especially because of the bright colour combination and the ruffles. The floral print ruffle dress from Next is beautiful and would be great with a pair of short boots, and fab accessories in black. 3. I adore this cute Bee Love t shirt from Silk Fred. Is so simple and so cool for Valentines Day. It’ll go with a ripped pair of jeans or maybe even a fab pleated skirt. Perfect! 4. This bright Pink Lace Shift Dress from New Look is so pretty. This Black Lace Panel Tiered mini dress from Next is another Self Portrait inspired dress. It’s gorgeous and gives a real rock chick feel. Team this dress with a pair of cool platform heels for the ultimate wow! 6. Pleated skirts are a real trend that is sticking around. New Look OOTD: Fitness!

New Look got in touch to try out the recent fitness releases I jumped at the chance. Here’s some of my top picks for this season. I love a good pair of thick black leggings for spending time in the gym and classes. They are the most flattering in my experience and go with everything. I always love to liven them up a little though and choose pairs that are a little bit different so I’ve chosen these Black Believe Print Leggings. The touch of bronze in an outfit is really stylish and there’s always room for positivity too. The Dark Grey Cowl Neck sports sweater is great for sports. It’s dark grey/green colour is so flattering but it will still go with every outfit. It also has a lower back so it’ll cover those bits you may be a little more self conscience of. More importantly it’s amazingly soft and great for running in the cold. This one will be staple for my wardrobe now. The red mesh back sports vest is really light and goes well with a black or grey pair of leggings or jogging bottoms. It actually comes in several colours such as purple, grey, red, black and white so I’m sure to be going back to New Look to invest in a few more. The top keeps it’s shape really well and is actually really flattering too. It also goes really well over a crop top. I love to wear sports crop tops especially in Yoga or Ballet Barre which I’ve just started at my local gym. They’re also great to wear in the Summer when the weather starts to get a lot warmer. They can be worn over sports bra’s and this Black Padded sports Crop Top is really stylish and it’s fast becoming one of my favourites. It’s really soft, and it fits perfectly and again doesn’t loose it’s shape easily. Do you have any of these fitness items or will you be hot footing it down to New Look to get any of these items ? Let me know in the comments below or on twitter. Happy Shopping! IMG_4572 IMG_4525 IMG_4561 IMG_4558 IMG_4543 IMG_4547

5 items you really need for a city break!

New Look and using their style on tour hub I picked out a few of  items. Venice6 A comfortable pair of shoes is the first and maybe one of the most important items that you’ll need when you are on a city break. There are so many places to see so you’ll want to take a tour out and explore your chosen city. My chosen pair was the white leather converse, which are comfortable and so cool too as they go with absolutely everything. Venice3 Hopefully your chosen city break will be hot and sunny so a pair of your favourite sunglasses is a must. This pair of sunnies is the Grey Tortoiseshell Top Bar sunglasses from New Look and they’re a complete bargain price of £5.99. I love the tinted lenses in these too, such an awesome colour and it adds a cool twist to every outfit. When I’m away abroad, I find that I tend to wear quite light and bright tops as it will keep you cool too. I chose this pale blue plaited trim jersey vest  from New Look as it’s really light weight and fresh. It also a great price and comes in a range of colours so you can get a few. Venice2Venice1 A great maxi dress is perfect to through on when walking around the city as it’s light and easy to wear. It’s also simple to look put together, and it will take you from day to evening really well too. I chose this white ditsy floral print front tie waist maxi dress as it’s really pretty. An added bonus with maxi dresses  I found especially when I was in Venice is that it helps keep away the mosquitos at night without you having to put trousers on too. Venice5 When you’re on a city break and exploring, the last item you need is a good staple bag. One that goes with every outfit and is big enough for a little money, your phone, suncream and a little make up and one that zips up because you don’t want to be caught out by pick pocketers. I brought along this gorgeous Vivienne Westwood bag and it ticks all those boxes. What items do you love to take on your city breaks? I’d love to know in the comments below. Happy Holidays!   *in collaboration with New Look

Fitness Wish List!

Fitness-Wishlist   I’m loving running at the moment and as the weather is warming up, even if it is a little rainy I’ve been looking for lighter, more summery training clothing. I thought I would put a few bits together in a wish list. 1. First up is this phone holder that fits around your arm.  Now I use my phone for both Strava and Spotify but I currently just hold my phone in my hand and have the cable wrapped lightly around my hand incase I was to drop it. This doesn’t feel or look very safe and I’ve been meaning to get one of these bands and I’m loving this one that I’ve recently seen in H&M. 2. Next on the wish list is this fab hooded running gilet again from H&M. It’s water-repellant and also has this fab pocket where you can store keys or a phone if you need it and haven’t got an arm band holder. It is also really thin but will keep the wind away. A great thing to wear when running. 3. Next up in my wish list are these fab Only Blue Abstract Print Shorts from New Look. I just love this fuzzy print. It’s such a pretty yet funky print and spot on for running gear. I can’t wait to get these. 4. These fab colourful Athletic Works Butterfly Leggings  come with DRI technology. They’re fab for working up a sweat running but you could also wear them while in the gym, or in a class whether that’s Zumba or you’re local bootcamp class. You’ll look super stylish too. 5. Last but not least are these really fab black Nike trainers as they just go with everything. I’ve had a pair of Nike’s before and I would never go back to anything else now. They give me great support but make me feel like I’m super trendy. Just remember to get measured up properly, and someone looks at your stride and gait when you buy trainers for fitness. This will help prevent injury in your coming months wearing them. You’ll be so much happier. Let me know what you think of my Fitness Wish List in the comments below or tweet me. Happy running!
