Wednesday Autumn Wishlist!

Wednesday Autumn Wishlist

Wednesday Autumnal Wishlist!

Autumn is that transitional time of year when the lighter layers and the boots come out and it’s one of my favourite times of year. I mean who doesn’t love Halloween and Fireworks night. I thought I would gather together a few of my favourite bits in the shops right now to show you.

Chanel – City Lights Palette

First up is this beautiful Limited Edition Chanel City Lights Palette . Four pretty Autumnal colours, there’s a natural pink to illuminate, an auburn toned brown, a grey toned brown both to blend over the eye and a deep brown to add depth. They’re all different textures matte, satin, iridescent and metallic. They make for a really gorgeous look and it’s one that everyone should go and test out.

Mint Velvet – Rose Gold Metallic Ombre Knit

I must really be really loving this metallic trend because this is the second item in this Wishlist. This Rose Gold Metallic Ombre Knit from Mint Velvet is a really pretty colour with a fab warm knit. I’m loving the ribbed effect as the style really reminds me of a Victoria Beckham jumper that has been all over Instagram. It’s also in the sale so I might just rush out and buy it now.

H and M – Monkey Patterned Skirt

I love my basics but occasionally I love a beautiful item to change up my wardrobe a little and this gorgeous monkey patterned skirt from H and M is that item. It’s super neutral and would be fab with a neutral jumper and heels or boots. I love it!

New Look – Black Floral Print Pocket Front Midi Shirt Dress

At this time of year I love wearing tea dresses and shirt dresses with a little warm jacket or a jumper. This gorgeous black floral print pocket front midi shirt dress from New Look is a perfect dress to do that with. It would be so pretty with a high sock boot, which is so on trend right now.

Office – Logan Point Chelsea Boots

Lastly I’ve chosen these Logan Point Chelsea Boots from Office . I live in a heeled chelsea boot in the Autumn. They’re so flattering on the legs, and they really do go with everything. You could wear these with a dress and tights or with a pair of jeans and the wide heel is also great if it gets a little frosty too. This particular pair are also currently in the sale. Bargain!
What items have you been picking up now the weather has got a little colder, and will you be picking up any of these items? Let me know in the comments below or on twitter.

Castle on the Hill & an OOTD!

Warehouse. It’s warm and goes with everything. The jumper is a gorgeous warm bergundy jumper from Miss Selfridge. I love this colour in Winter and it seems to go well with the jacket too. The tabby striped snood that I’m wearing has been a definite fixture to my Winter wardrobe. It was a Christmas present from my auntie and her family that she bought in a small boutique near where she lives. It’s actually one of  my favourite clothing items at the moment. I teamed this combo with a high waisted denim skirt from Oasis which is currently in the sale. It has a retro Sargent Pepper military feel to it as it has six buttons going up it but that are mostly hidden here. I have a feeling I’ll be wearing this a lot in the summer too. I teamed this with my black ankle boots, some black leggings and my DKNY bag which is never far away from me. What are your wardrobe favourites at the moment. Let me know in the comments below. Happy Shopping! IMG_4445 IMG_4443 IMG_4435 IMG_4430 IMG_4428

A Wish List of the week!

Artboard 1 The first piece in my Wish list is this Pretty Mesh Insert Tee . This is not any plain tshirt, it has beautiful detailing around the cuff and hem of the t-shirt. It also has super cool mesh fitted into the sleeves which will be perfect for keeping you cool this Spring/Summer. The second piece is a really pretty Asos Ruffle detail cami top. It’s super easy to wear and as it’s so classic that it’ll stay in fashion for years to come. The next piece is this Wilton striped t-shirt from Phase Eight. If you don’t already know I love stripes and this t-shirt is really cool. It has small cup sleeves and a white vest attachment at the bottom of the top which will hide a multitude of sins. This Beth Lace top in ivory is the perfect lace top to go with everything on those colder Spring and summer days and Phase Eight currently has a 20% discount so go check this out. The next piece is one of my favourites, it’s this Glamorous Petite embroidered off the shoulder folk top. It’s gorgeous with the white seems and the colourful design on the front. It fits in with the summer boho style and I love it. I love the style of this gorgeous blue dress with the blue lace overlay and white lining. It reminds me so much of the Self Portrait dresses that have been every where. This Camille Lace Dress is the perfect dupe and would be perfect as a wedding guest dress. You will shine but not outshine the bride.   I bought some white leather converse recently but as soon as I saw these really cool rose gold Converse,  I fell in love with these too. They’re so fresh and so in season at the moment and rose gold never gets old. Which pieces do you love? Let me know in the comments below. Happy Shopping!

Sunday Instagram Round up

Screen Shot 2016-04-24 at 19.57.41 At the start of the week I invested in two cool products. A new pair of white leather converse trainers and a really cool rain jacket from Marks and Spencers. It’s a cool outfit for the Spring/Summer season. Screen Shot 2016-04-24 at 20.21.58 I saw this in Topshop an well I thought it seemed like a cool message. Screen Shot 2016-04-24 at 19.58.20 I love these flowers that are just down the road from work. I seemed to get them on their ultimate day of bloom because the next day they had started to die. Screen Shot 2016-04-24 at 19.58.40 Colchester is full of some amazing scenery and this one just down the road from the Castle park is one of my favourites. The river and the different types of green are just so gorgeous. Screen Shot 2016-04-24 at 19.59.11 On Wednesday my husband took us both back to the noodle bar. Mainly because he wanted to try the peanut noodle dish but I did enjoy the garlic sauce, vegetables and plain rice. It was too yummy! Screen Shot 2016-04-24 at 19.59.27 I love bluebells. Some of my favourite scenery is bluebell fields in the woods so when I saw these on my way to town I just had to take a picture. Screen Shot 2016-04-24 at 19.59.41 I’ve just bought some really cool white leather Converse but when I went by Office the other day I saw these little beauties so I might just have to save up for these too.   Screen Shot 2016-04-24 at 19.59.53 One of my favourite places to go at the weekend is a little vegan cafe just in town called The Den. It’s Colchester’s first and we love it because we can eat everything there and it all tastes amazing. They always have the most amazing cupcakes and muffins. so yummy! Screen Shot 2016-04-24 at 20.00.06 I either have Avocado on toast or vegetable toasty that comes with the best salad. Screen Shot 2016-04-24 at 20.00.19 I was told about the Andy Warhol exhibition at Colchester First Site. I’m a big art fan even though I don’t get  to go to many exhibitions so when I heard about this I jumped at the chance, and I took my husband along to see it too. The pop art exhibit is actually free and it was the first time at First Site. They have a cafe and a fab little shop with books abut all kind of artists. If you get the chance to go, be sure to.     Screen Shot 2016-04-24 at 20.00.29   At the Andy Warhol exhibition, there is also a solo exhibit by Colchester born Hattie Stewart. She’s has a fab doodle bombing style that takes the mick out of the celebrity phenomenon. we loved it so much that we took home this picture of FKA Twigs. What have you been up to this week. Let me know in the comments below. Happy Instagram – ing!

September Wish List!

September-Wish-List There are lots of sales on and also lots of new products out and quite a few lovely products have caught my eye so I’ve popped together a Wishlist for September. First up is this gorgeous pair of  Asos Play It Cool Pointed High Heels. I love that they have a sling back high heel but are kept covered up at the front. At £31.50, they’re a perfect price. Next up is this Asos Tunic With Split Sides and Oh Chat Print. It’s a bargain at £12 and so playful with the print too. I love the little cat nose in the centre of the shirt. so Cute! I spied this number in a magazine this week and it’s a beautiful embroidered collar dress. Topshop dresses are always so well made and this one looks more expensive than it’s £65. It’s a very current silhouette and it’s something that you will be able to keep on wearing throughout winter with a pair of ankle boots and thick tights. You’ve got to love a jumpsuit and this gorgeous Chelsea Peers Panda Jumpsuit is so cute. It’s light weight so good for sleeping in and I just love the pastel blue shade and the pandas. Squeeee! I’ve been looking for a coat that’s light weight but warm for this awkward in between season period and I think that this might just be a winner. The New Look Belted Wrap Coat is just £49.99 so it wont break the bank,  it’s really stylish and it doesn’t feel too wintery as it’s style that gorgeous camel colour. Perfect! I just love this butterfly print and again it has the gorgeous pastel blue shade. I think I’m trying to hang on to summer a little bit. This Butterfly Blouse is a beautiful texture and it will take you nicely from the office to evening or even weekend. You might want to wear this with a pleather skirt to keep it bang on trend. I’m rather in-love with this V&A Kilburn Pencil Skirt. You might even see me on theOasis site if you look really carefully. I teamed this skirt with a cream cami and statement necklace along with a pair of flats, but you might like to team it with a black cami or even a top of the same print for an ultra special look. I’ll be popping into my nearest Oasis to buy this to wear on our upcoming wedding anniversary this weekend. It’s so pretty! These sweet Limelight Fringe Loafers from Office seem to catch my eye every time I walk past my local Office. As a kid I used to hate wearing the annual pair of loafers, they’d gape around my feet when I walked which made me dislike them even more. They seemed to have figured out how to stop that these days though and I’ve been biding my time before I buy a pair. These loafers will be a stylish and sophisticated addition to any wardrobe, and a pair of shoes you won’t have to earmark just for school or the office. Wear them with a short pair of trousers or a cute dress. What have you been eying up recently, let me know in the comments below. Happy Shopping!
