The Birthday Wishlist 2018!

My birthday is rapidly approaching and one of my favourite posts to write every year is my birthday wish list with some of the products that I’ve been lusting over and why. This years products have a little bit of a theme as they’re unintentionally very pink/nude.

1.First up is this super cute Olivia Burton ladies Midi 3D Bee Grey Dial & Rose Gold Watch. If you’ve been following me for a while you’ll know I love a bee on anything and everything so this watch ticks all of he boxes for me. I love all of the Olivia Burton watches, and colours but I’ve chosen this darker grey as I feel it would be a little more durable. It would be an amazing accent for any outfit too.

2. The Armani Si Nacre Edition perfume is super pretty. It’s a little on the pricey side but it’s limited edition. It has a glitter that runs through it which comes out when sprayed and leaves a subtle sparkle on your clothes or body.  The perfume smells amazing with top notes of apricot that lingers so beautifully. What’s not to love.

3. Next up is an Apple iPad. This might seem like an extravagant thing to go on my wish list but I watch and listen to quite a lot of films, music and programs and I thought that maybe an iPad might be a good way of playing these. It’s also so much more portable than my main computer and much lighter too which means no arm pain from dragging around my heavy laptop everywhere. Bonus!

4. Pink Vans are trainers that I’ve been wanting to get my hands on for a while. I love the vintage look and these Vans scream vintage with that stripe and the style but they’re still ultra cool. They’ll also go with loads of outfits, from summer dresses to jeans and a leather jacket.

5. One of my favourite make up products that I would love to own is the Too Faced Natural Matte palette. It’s so pretty, has great product pay off and is really natural too. It’s also very photogenic.

Are you loving any of the products in my birthday wish list, maybe you have one or two of them and you want to give me your reviews or maybe you’re planning on getting a few of them too? Let me know in the comments below.

My February Favourites

IMG_2112
February was definately an interesting month. Just when we thought Spring was on it’s way, back came the cold and snow which meant that I used a lot of products to combat weathered skin that needed a little more TLC.
IMG_2118
I’ve spoken about this product lots before but this L’Occitane hand cream is a god send. It’s really thick and creamy product that doesn’t leave a residue but it does leave your hands feeling hydrated, moisturised and so so soft. It’s a great price and this packaging from the Limited Edition Rifle Paper Co. is super cute. If you haven’t got it already, go try it.
IMG_2115
I love Bees, as you might know my surname means bee friend in Lativian so I was ultra happy when my husband gave me these gorgeous Olivia Burton earrings for Valentine’s day. They’re so dainty and they pretty much go with my bee necklace from Alex Monroe too. They’re a pair of earrings that I’ve been gravitated towards a lot this month.
IMG_2121
Staying on the skincare trail, I’ve been loving this Hibiscus and Coconut Water body butter from Being by Sanctuary.  It’s so moisturising and smells amazing. I’m addicted to it and I love using it everywhere in the morning after my shower and in the evening as I’m getting ready for bed.
IMG_2125
Mascara is something that I’ve been switching up a bit recently and actually I’ve been using two. The first is the Tanya Burr Selfie Lash mascara. It’s super defining and lengthening for an almost natural look but better. It does a great job for getting you ready to take the perfect selfie. I get no fall down and it looks amazing all day.
IMG_2126
The second mascara is the Benefit BadGal Bang Mascara. There was so much hype about this product and many people were disappointed it was just a mascara when it was finally revealed. This product really works though. It’s a definite going out look that you get but I love this chunky yet defined long lashes and they last all day. The only thing I would be careful of is that I often get drop down throughout the day. To combat this, I just use this on the top lashes and then I use a different one such as the Tanya Burr Selfie Lash on the lower lash. It’s definitely one to try out though!
IMG_2123Last but not least is the Clarins Limited Edition Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector in the pink shimmer. This also comes in a duo with a Orange Shimmer which I love.  I’ve particularly loved using this colour recently though as it’s a little more pinkier. The Instant Lip Perfecters are some of my favourite products as they’re so easy to use and they bring an every day look together quickly. This colour is perfect for Spring and it really is pretty! If you haven’t tried these Clarins products before, there are plenty of colours so go and sample them.
Let me know what beauty and fashion products you’ve been loving this month and whether you’ve been loving these items as much as me in the comments below or over on Twitter.

My Wednesday Wishlist!

Wednesday Wishlist

There are so many beautiful things in the shops at the moment and I thought that I would share a few of my favourite pieces. Here’s my Wednesday Wishlist!
1.First up is this gorgeous floral print ruffle dress from Missguided. This dress is so effortless and pretty. It would be perfect with a little pair of heels in the Autumn or a pair of ankle boots and jacket.
2.Next up is a brand that I have written about many times before Olivia Burton. You know me, I love anything with a bee on it and this open ended bee bracelet is ultra gorgeous – It would add that perfect final touch to any outfit!
3.I noticed this daisy print by a brand called Nobody’s Child on Asos the other day and I’ve been day dreaming of it ever since. It’s so pretty with the polka dots on the dark background with a small floral print. Short dresses are so in right now too.
4.I’m a big fan of peplum tops when they’re done well and this high necked lace peplum top from Missguided is really cute. Missguided definitely really are killing it with their latest collection this season!
5. I love designer accessories like everyone but I’m not always so keen on the price tag that comes with them so when this Prada-esque bag from New Look popped up on my screen recently I went a little crazy. It fits so much in and would be perfect for any outfit. It’s a must buy.
6. The last dress that I’ve picked out is this pretty Oasis meets ZSL dress. It’s covered in animals of all kinds hiding in the foliage. It’s so pretty and kinda bold too so I just had to pop it in the wishlist. I love the plunge neckline as it’s perfect for an evening out or just a summers day enjoying the sun.
7. Last but no means least is the GHD curling wand. Curled hair is always in and I would love to use a curling wand that makes a curly hair style a little quicker to put together and I think this might be the wand to help with that. They’re expensive but really worth the money.
Are you loving these products as much as me? Are you planning to buy any of these or do you already own some of them? Let me know over on my twitter.

Birthday Wishlist!

Birthday Wishlist
My birthday is coming up really soon and there are so many things that I love at the moment. I thought I would pop together some items/ ideas that I would love to receive for my birthday.
1. First up is this gorgeous Vivienne Westwood necklace. I’ve had the orb earrings for a while and I constantly wear them so I’d love to have the necklace too. They just go with everything and really make an outfit look more stylish.
2. I’ve been travelling quite a bit recently, my little suitcase that I’ve had since university has seen better days. I love the Ted Baker suitcases, they’re always so pretty and this black one is super cute. I also love the some of the suitcases from River Island too.
3. I’m a huge fan of bees, I especially love Alex Monroe bee necklace my husband gave me for my 30th birthday so it’s super special to me. This Olivia Burton bee bracelet is a really great match for the necklace. Anything bee related is a winner for me.
4. I’m a big fan of Jo Malone fragrances and the perfume that I am loving at the moment is Nectarine Blossom and Honey. It’s such a summery fragrance and is supposed to remind you of Covent Garden early in the morning. Covent Garden is one of my favourite places to go in London so this is perfect.
5. One of my favourite shops at the moment is Joules as they have so many amazing designs and prints. It’s right up my street especially this gorgeous Julia Pleated Jersey dress. The fabric is super soft, and will definitely keep me cool in the warmer English weather.
6. As I’ve said before anything with a bee on is a winner in my book and I’ve loved these intricate Olivia Burton Bee watches since they originally came out. It would take pride of place on my wrist and would make every outfit look amazing.
7. My current computer is quite old and some of the buttons occasionally don’t work so I’m well in need of a new computer. My ideal would be an iPad/ iPad pro or a Mac Book Pro as they’re so easy to use.
Are you loving any of these pieces. Tweet me and let me know.

July Wish List!

June 2016 WIshlist   1. Olivia Burton Big Chrono watch £135 Olivia Burton Watches have some of my favourites designs. They come in classic styles with an edgy mix of  old and new. Flowers, insects of birds adorn the chic structures or they may even be plain. This Big Chrono watch is large yet beautiful with the black clock face and the rose gold hard wear, its sure to go with everything. 2. Lancome Gradiose eyeliner £23  I loved the Lancome Grandiose mascara, it’s one of the few mascaras I enjoy wearing so when I saw that Lancome were bringing out this beauty, it’s just gone in at the top of my wish list. I really struggle with my eye liner so I’m hoping this new one with the bendy handle will really help. It comes in three fab colours, black, blue and a brown and is sure to help you create that on fleek eye liner flick. 3. Misguided Striped Bardot Crop Top £15 Off the shoulder dresses and tops are huge this season and I haven’t found the right one for my shape or build as yet. You have to be carful that they don’t slouch or come off the shoulders when you move. I know  that the positioning of the fabric is also really important for me too as it can sometimes make my shoulders and arms bigger than they are. There is definitely a nack to wearing this kind of top but this one from Misguided seems like it would fit me well and sit in place on my shoulders. I also love the stripes on this top and at £15 it’s such a bargain. 4. Kurt Geiger Saffiano London Tote £165  Pastle shades are huge for these summer months and I have a particular love for lilac and so when I saw this Kurt Geiger Saffiano London Tote on their site I had to pop it on the wish list too. The shade of blue is so pretty as it’s almost a lilac grey blue which is such an on trend colour for this season. It’s in the sale so it’s a great price and size. It will even carry your laptop. 5. Oasis Ditsy Buttoned Dress £38   The ditsy print is pretty and I love wearing dresses that are a little different. This one is right up there as it has the light/dark pink flower combination and criss cross straps at the back. It’s effortless yet so summery even with the dark colouring. It would go so well with heels and a little shoulder bag or a pair or sandals and a denim jacket. 6. Clarice – Carvela Comfort £49  I love these nude Clarice comfort . As I mentioned earlier, I’m addicted to pastle colors so a great nude pink slip on is just amazing for this time of year. I had a really similar pair of bright pink Uggs a few years ago that I lived in over the summer months and these will really be a great fit. Everyone needs a comfy slip on in their wardrobe, they’re so practical and are sure to be admired by friends. The best bit is that they are also in the sale too. Perfect! Let me know what’s in your July Wish List in the comments below. Happy shopping!

Holiday/Birthday Nails

nails I always love to be pampered for my birthday and this year my husband took me away to Venice for a few days too. what a treat!  The trip was amazing but before I went to one of the most romantic islands in the world, I popped along to my local nail bar and got my nails manicured. I took ages to decide on what colour to choose, mainly because they had so many. I finally settled on this beautiful baby pink colour gel polish in ‘Look at you Pink-achu!’ and with a small silver glitter gel in ‘My Secret Santa’ put over the top. I love a the colour especially with the little glitter over the top.  My nails looked so lovely and tip top condition for a special trip away. More than a week later and they’re still going strong so that’s great too. The colour was perfect for the holiday as it went with all of my outfits and helped my tan pop a little too. Do you love a little gel polish on your nails? Let me know in the comments below. Happy Thursday!

John Lewis Valentine's Wish List

John Lewis to put together a Valentine’s Day wishlist, which I thought would be a great way to pull together some of my favourite items from their range this year. I’ve picked out seven potential gifts, five for the girls and two for men. Let’s take a look… Valentines-Wishlist-2016

1. Olivia Burton

First up is a watch from one of my favourite brands, Olivia Burton, a relatively new company started by two London friends who met at university. Their frequent collections are classic and colourful and go well with every day outfits or for special occasions. I’ve picked out their Flower Show watch, a snowy pink piece featuring a gold case and beautiful blooms on the face. It’s an absolute steal at £70, so grab it with both hands!

2. Alex Monroe

Long time readers will know I’m a big fan of Alex Monroe. His hand crafted collections capture the delicate beauty of nature with unique detail. I’ve chosen his lovebirds necklace, a classic piece in gold which would make a fantastic gift for the lady in your life.

3. Neom

Neom is a brand of candle that promotes a message of healthy living and wellbeing through relaxation of the senses. Their organic candles smell incredible have been given the seal of approval by the Dutchess of Cambridge among others. I’ve selected the Neom Ylang Ylang, a decadent smelling candle that reminds me of turkish delight. A real treat!

4. Jo Malone

I just had to include a fragrance on this list, and one of my favourites is from Jo Malone. I’ve chosen their Mimosa and Cardamom cologne, a fresh and spicy scent with a base of sandalwood that is so addictive you’ll want to wear it all the time but never want the bottle to run out. This is actually unisex scent, so it’ll make a perfect Valentine’s gift for him or her!

5. Radley

Radley are a London brand who create fantastic handbags and purses for women with pretty pastel palettes and a cute dog mark. With humble beginnings in Camden market in the mid 80’s, today Radley is catching my eye rather often! I’ve picked out their heart purse, a wonderful little pastel pink number perfect for dinner out on Valentine’s day. So cute!

6. Tom Ford

New York native Tom Ford moved to Milan in the mid 90’s to work for Gucci and YSL before setting up on his own in 2005. Today he’s leading the way in fashion and beauty and his male fragrances are to die for! I’ve chosen his flagship Tom Ford Eau de Toilette which comes in a gold bottle that screams premium. With notes of lemon, mandarin and ginger, this is as fresh as it is exotic. Get this for the man in your life and he’ll be over the moon!

7. Happy Socks

Happy Socks are a Swedish brand with a mission to make socks exciting, and they’re certainly doing that through their colourful collections! My husband is a big fan of Happy Socks, and I love having an excuse to get him a pair. So if your fella thinks socks are a boring present, why not change his mind and add a bit of colour to his sock drawer! Let me know in the comments below which are your favourites on this list and what you’ll be wearing out this weekend. Happy shopping!

Beauty Fashion Lifestyle Music Performance

What I received for Christmas 2015!

IMG_3129 From my husband and one of my good friends I received these two shoulder bags, both from Toyshop. We’d been to a few Christmas parties over the festive period and I’d had to borrow a little bag as the ones I have are beautiful but quite big for going out to parties. The black bag is velvet with small gold studs. It’s really pretty and so on trend. The second brown one is a take on the Chloe Drew bag and it’s gorgeous. It’s slightly bigger than the other and is made from fake leather. So pretty! IMG_3134 I love music, all types as you can probably tell and from mum I recieved the Darcy Bussell Ballet Music Collection. Is filled with music from the greats, from Giselle to the Nutcracker. From my nan I recieved the Adele 25 Album. I love her new music and have been listening to it quite a bit in the last few weeks so I was chuffed to get this one. I loved that my nan kept calling her A-delle, it made me laugh for hours. These are great for the car, for long journeys when the radio just doesn’t cut it. IMG_3137 These are a few of the bigger pressies I received. The gorgeous Olivia Burton watch was my main pressie from my husband. He’d remembered that I loved it recently and had popped it on Instagram. It’s ultra pretty and I’ve warn it most days since I received it so far. He knows me too well. From my sister and my dad, I received a few Pandora charms to go on my bracelet. They gave me the red heart and E to me last Christmas, for this one I was given the silver heart with my Pandora style birthstone, and light pink crystal band and one that had to be exchanged which was a double sisters charm that isn’t pictured. All really pretty and meaningful pressie! Finally the bee earrings were a pressie from my aunt. You know I love Bees and so does my family. My aunt picked these up from the V and A museum when they had been down to London a few months previously. So cute!   IMG_3140 I received a few beauty products this Christmas too. The Real Technique brushes were from my husband. I kept mentioning the metals collection set that was in Boots. They’re so soft and work really well. The clutch bag is really pretty too. I also received these awesome Laura Mercier Cream Caviar Stick eye shadows. I’m completely addicted to using Amethyst and use it most days along with a few colours from the Naked Smoky palette. (colours and swatches are below).   IMG_3142 From left to right the colours are Aubergine, Ganache, Khaki, Amethyst, Rosegold and Sugar Frost.   IMG_3143 The last product I received was the Pupa Cat 4 palette. I don’t know very much about this company apart from that it’s an Italian. This product is so cute though. It has a mixture of products in it though including several eye shadow’s, a blush as well as a mirror and a make up brush.  It’s so pretty though I haven’t wanted to use it yet. Those little ears! IMG_3144 As well as all of these beautiful gifts. I also received tickets to Ellie Goulding for her tour in March. Needless to say I’m proper excited. What did you get for Christmas. Let me know in the comments below. Happy Shopping!
