Parka Jacket and Heels from F&F Clothing!

The snowy cold weather has really taken a hold over the UK over recent weeks. We might even be in for a white Christmas which is something that has only happened a few times in my life time. During this cold weather I love to have clothes in my wardrobe that are versatile, that make you look great and will last well too. A great pair of black boots and a parka jacket are two of my favourite staple Autumn/Winter items that every girl needs. they’re also two items that will continue to be in fashion for years to come too so when I saw this F&F parka I knew it would be perfect for keeping me warm as it’s has a part soft faux fur lining and hood that keeps the heat in and blends in with the coat and style. It has plenty of pockets to keep my phone and bits in too. I also love the dip in the back hem and the elasticated cuffs on the sleeves as they also help to keep me extra warm and adds some extra shape to the jacket too. There’s also a draw string on the inside does this too especially as I love to layer a cozy cardigan underneath. The jacket will go with anything but especially a cute dress or just a simple pair of denim jeans.
A good pair of black heeled boots are fab for any wardrobe too because they go with anything and everything. A skirt or jeans, a jumpsuit or maxi dress. These F&F slip on Chelsea boots are tight without being uncomfortable. The heel is just the right height and look great. Bonus is that I can still walk in them!
What are your most favourite staple items that you go back to again and again? Let me know in the comments below or over on Twitter. I’d love to know your thoughts.

Tesco F&F Spring/Summer 18 Press Event

Sometimes I’m lucky enough to be invited to some cool media events and this one was one of the coolest. One of my favourite places to shop are supermarkets especially when I’m looking for a bargain but I still want it to be wearing clothes that look and feel good.
F&F had their press event in the heart of London to showcase their Spring/Summer 18 collection, there’s not a piece I didn’t like.  They had a mens collection which was cool and a kids collection that was ultra cute but what I was really interested in was the ladies collection.
I loved the typography printed t-shirts especially this Nautical rope themed Hello. I could see myself wearing this in the sumer with a pair of denim jeans or a skirt and trainers and maybe sunnies. They’ve been so big this season and they’re sure to go into the Spring/Summer season too.
Bright Floral prints, big bold accessories and flowing material seemed to be a big trend that is sticking around and F & F have done their version amazingly. This trend suits everyone and it looks gorgeous. I love this bright yellow jumpsuit with the tie sides. So pretty!
I love unusual yet versatile floral dresses in different textures so this collection was one that I loved – some of the darker items you could even wear now in Autumn/Winter with a cardi, leggings and boots. A stand out piece for me had to be the black and white spotty tapered trousers – they’re going to fly off the shelves.
My most favourite section though was the beach/holiday wear. There are some amazing swim wear shapes coming in with delicate patterns, frills and matalics staying on trend for the new year. Look at these beautiful rose gold trainers. so pretty and they really will make any outfit pop!
A special mention also has to be for the fitness and sleepwear too. Blues, yellows, pinks and lots of amazing textures are going to be huge. Even though I love layering up in the cosy months, sitting by the fire you can’t beat going out for a run in the warm weather, and sitting under an umbrella reading a book in your favourite bikini. Bring on the summer I say!

Emily Hearts April Favourites.

The monthly favourite post is my most enjoyable post to write. It is the end of another month and so here is Aprils’ monthly favourites post. Enjoy! I have had some corker of some products this month and the first one is the Original Tangle Teezer. I finally bought one of these hair beauties from Boots for £9.90, It is as good as everyone says it is, if not better. This multi award winning brush comes in many colours and many styles, all very usable. If you have never used a Tangle Teezer before, then a bit of time in needed to get used to the sensation of the uniquely set brush teeth but it is really the best hair brush I have had yet. Tangle Teezers are available to buy at Boots and salons nation wide .    Staying with hair care products, my next favourites are the Matrix Biolage volumizing Shampoo and The Dove Colour Radience conditioner. I had my hair dyed and cut this month and so I felt I should pick up a new shampoo. With help from my hair dresser Sam from Silhouette De Barry, I choose this one, and it is great. It is paraben free, has an amazing natural smell and leaves my hair feeling incredible. the soy and wheat protein formula helps my hair to become bouncy, obviously volumizing and it makes you feel like you have just stepped out of a salon. You can buy Matrix Biolage Shampoo for £10.95 from hair salons or their website. The Dove Colour Radiance Express Treatment conditioner is amazing. Here’s the technical bit, this conditioner ‘contains a UV filter and is specially formulated to seal the cuticle and protect coloured hair, whilst the nourishment stripe replenishes and repairs hair from the inside.’ (Dove) In other words it leaves your hair feeling soft, and feeling amazing and you can get it at a great price. Bonus!    This month on my nails I have been mostly wearing these two Max Factor Glossfinity nail polishes. The colours are Candy Floss (Left) and Rose Petal (Right), they have great staying power and since I have bought them, they are the two new staple colours in my collection. The new formulation is great and the packaging even better. You can get Max Factor at Boots and Superdrugs for  £5.99. I have used many concealers but I always come back to Collection 2000’s Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Concealer. I thought it would be silly not to include it. It has a lovely texture, has great coverage, the price is right at £4.19 and like Fleur De Force I love it.  What more can I say apart from go get it and try it out. 🙂    I was sent these Good Things products at the end of the month, beginning of May. I wont tell you too much about them yet as I am putting up a full review of the products in the next few days but I couldn’t have my monthly favourites without including them. These products smell amazing as they have the fruity smells of mango, blueberry, blackcurrant and goji berry. They are all natural, paraben and animal products. They work incredibly well and I haven’t stopped using them since I was sent them. You can buy these products from Boots, Superdrug and Sainsbury’s for £7.99 and £4.99. Bargain!
