Birthday Wishlist!

Birthday Wishlist

My birthday is coming up really soon and there are so many things that I love at the moment. I thought I would pop together some items/ ideas that I would love to receive for my birthday.

1. First up is this gorgeous Vivienne Westwood necklace. I’ve had the orb earrings for a while and I constantly wear them so I’d love to have the necklace too. They just go with everything and really make an outfit look more stylish.

2. I’ve been travelling quite a bit recently, viagra 40mg my little suitcase that I’ve had since university has seen better days. I love the Ted Baker suitcases, they’re always so pretty and this black one is super cute. I also love the some of the suitcases from River Island too.

3. I’m a huge fan of bees, I especially love Alex Monroe bee necklace my husband gave me for my 30th birthday so it’s super special to me. This Olivia Burton bee bracelet is a really great match for the necklace. Anything bee related is a winner for me.

4. I’m a big fan of Jo Malone fragrances and the perfume that I am loving at the moment is Nectarine Blossom and Honey. It’s such a summery fragrance and is supposed to remind you of Covent Garden early in the morning. Covent Garden is one of my favourite places to go in London so this is perfect.

5. One of my favourite shops at the moment is Joules as they have so many amazing designs and prints. It’s right up my street especially this gorgeous Julia Pleated Jersey dress. The fabric is super soft, and will definitely keep me cool in the warmer English weather.

6. As I’ve said before anything with a bee on is a winner in my book and I’ve loved these intricate Olivia Burton Bee watches since they originally came out. It would take pride of place on my wrist and would make every outfit look amazing.

7. My current computer is quite old and some of the buttons occasionally don’t work so I’m well in need of a new computer. My ideal would be an iPad/ iPad pro or a Mac Book Pro as they’re so easy to use.

Are you loving any of these pieces. Tweet me and let me know.

5 items you really need for a city break!

I recently went on a city break to Venice, doctor Italy. The weather was amazing and the sights where awesome but after doing quite a few city breaks now I realise that you need five main items to help you once you’re on your holiday and New Look and using their style on tour hub I picked out a few of  items.

A comfortable pair of shoes is the first and maybe one of the most important items that you’ll need when you are on a city break. There are so many places to see so you’ll want to take a tour out and explore your chosen city. My chosen pair was the white leather converse, unhealthy which are comfortable and so cool too as they go with absolutely everything.

Hopefully your chosen city break will be hot and sunny so a pair of your favourite sunglasses is a must. This pair of sunnies is the Grey Tortoiseshell Top Bar sunglasses from New Look and they’re a complete bargain price of £5.99. I love the tinted lenses in these too, such an awesome colour and it adds a cool twist to every outfit.

When I’m away abroad, I find that I tend to wear quite light and bright tops as it will keep you cool too. I chose this pale blue plaited trim jersey vest  from New Look as it’s really light weight and fresh. It also a great price and comes in a range of colours so you can get a few.

A great maxi dress is perfect to through on when walking around the city as it’s light and easy to wear. It’s also simple to look put together, and it will take you from day to evening really well too. I chose this white ditsy floral print front tie waist maxi dress as it’s really pretty. An added bonus with maxi dresses  I found especially when I was in Venice is that it helps keep away the mosquitos at night without you having to put trousers on too.

When you’re on a city break and exploring, the last item you need is a good staple bag. One that goes with every outfit and is big enough for a little money, your phone, suncream and a little make up and one that zips up because you don’t want to be caught out by pick pocketers. I brought along this gorgeous Vivienne Westwood bag and it ticks all those boxes.

What items do you love to take on your city breaks? I’d love to know in the comments below.

Happy Holidays!

A Rock Chick Wish List!

I thought that I’d do a wish list and it just happened that when I put some of the products that I would really love are very rock chick.

1. I actually have to admit that I bought this lovely Bowie T Shirt from New Look and was a complete bargain. As you might know if you’ve been reading my blog for a little while, health I’ve become a little bit obsessed with David Bowie, listening to music, reading his biography and watching videos. This t shirt is a great addition to my wardrobe and I’ll be wearing them a lot.

2. I’m really loving Vivienne Westwood as you’ll be able to tell from this post. I was bought the gorgeous earrings recently and I spotted this really pretty VW Women’s line orb scarf in the same shop. It’s  really pretty and quite thin, but it’ll keep you warm at the same time. It would look really great over the Bowie T-shirt actually. It also comes in red as well as blue too.

3. This Perfume is so pretty. Daisy Dream Blush by Marc Jacobs. The Daisy scent from MJ is my summer signature scent and this one is just as gorgeous and subtle. I had this sprayed on my wrist the other day to see how it lasted and I can still smell it quite a few days later.

4. I love wearing flats so i’m always on the low out for a pair that really stand out. These gorgeous Next loafers are just the ticket and will really wear well in this Spring/Summer season. They’ll be great for the office as well as the weekend jaunts away. I just can’t wait to start wearing them.

5. Last but not least is this amazing Black Frilly Snake Bag from Vivienne Westwood. It’s a real beaut of a bag and it really is an amazing accessory to add to any outfit. Black is such a classic colour but the snake print and gold hardware mean this is a rock chicks favourite.

What have you been loving and what’s on your wish list?

February Favourites!

It’s that time again so I’ve gathered together my favourite products this month to show you. The days are getting slightly warmer, dosage longer and brighter and I’m very much looking forward Spring and I think this shows in my products here.

IMG_3287The first item in my Feb favourites is Girl On Line On Tour by Zoe Sugg better known as Zoella. My husband bought me this for Valentine’s day and I’ve only had a short time to read it but I’m already half way through and thoroughly enjoying it. I can’t wait to read more.

IMG_3289When I’ve not been reading Girl On Line On Tour, sildenafil I’ve been listening to David Bowie which I’m very much enjoying and I’ve finished this great book on him by David Buckley. It’s filled with lots of accounts from his long time collaborators. It’s a fab book and if you too are a Bowie fanatic, it’s a must read.

IMG_3294The Clarins Multi- active Day and Night creams are really great moisturisers. The day cream is rich yet light on the skin and it’s really helped my skin look amazing in the last month. The night cream smells amazing, it has poppy extract in it and it has really been helping me to sleep recently too.

IMG_3296Ciate is fast becoming my all time favourite nail polish brand. I received this one in Pillow Fight from an InStyle magazine. It’s beautiful colour. A mauve nude that looks incredible on the nails and goes with everything. And how cute is the bow on the bottle. I’ve even found that you can get reduced Ciate products from TK Maxx with such amazing colours available so I’m ultra happy.

IMG_3301I recently did a blog post on the Max Factor Marilyn Monroe collection and I’ve been loving the darkest of the four colours Marilyn Cabernet ever since. It’s a beautiful colour and one everyone seems to be able pull off. It makes every outfit that bit more done up and has such great staying power. If you haven’t tried this already, you should.

IMG_3305I’ve always wanted to have some Garlain products as I’ve heard there so good. This one is hopefully the first of many and it didn’t let me down. I picked it up towards the end of  the January sales and it was on sale as I’m told it’s an end of the line product. They lipsticks are so creamy and almost feel like a lip balm. It’s the most beautiful of nudes, slightly darker than Nude Pop from Clinique but in the same tone family.

Clinique-lipstick-pic-2I love the Clinique Pop lipsticks. They’re lipsticks that have both colour and primer. I’ve already got and loved Nude Pop, and it made my monthly favourites a few months ago. This one in Party pop, the most beautiful bright pink/red is one I instantly loved. These lipsticks moisturise and last a long time. Perfect!

IMG_3312I received these gorgeous Vivienne Westwood earrings from my husband for Valentine’s Day. I’d had my eye on some jewellery from this lovely lady from quite some years, and when I spotted these small silver VW orbs in my local stockists a few months ago, I just knew they had to be mine. My husband knows me well and these beauties were a grand surprise. They come in gold, silver and rose gold and every one comments on them. They really ooze sophistication and glamour.
